German speaking Technical Support Representative urgently required for a client of ours based in London. We are ideally looking for candidates who have previous technical support experience within an on line working environment.

Summary:
The Technical Support Representative supports customers and web consumers by responding to various requests, questions, suggestions, and comments via phone and email.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Other duties may be added and/or assigned:

• Handle incoming calls and emails from customers promptly, courteously and with attention to detail.
• Maintain customer-focus to ensure fast response times for all channels of customer communication.
• Support requests usually pertaining to software, hardware or networking issues.
• Provide training to customers on the use of specific software
• Document all phone contacts in the ticketing system and all email contacts in the email management tool

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below.

• Solid understanding of the Internet (email, web browsers)
• Software: MS Windows 2000, XP, Vista, MS Office applications
• Network (LAN/WAN) troubleshooting skills
• Broadband Internet connectivity knowledge is a plus
• A strong spirit and energy to provide the best support in the restaurant industry
• Excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Strong writing skills: ability to communicate professionally with customers via email
• Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, unstructured and changing environment
• Ability to juggle priorities and provide thorough follow up
• Fluent in English and German

Education and/or Experience:

• 1-2 years experience providing customer support or technical support in a software environment

Requirements:
Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
