We currently have an exciting opportunity for Online Technical & Operations Manager in Northamptonshire.

Our client specialises in producing and selling the very best organic health products and juices across Europe and the U.S. The company is now at an exciting stage of its development and they are looking for experienced online Technical & Operations Manager to oversee and optimise our operations across departments, find innovative solutions and improve our online sales through SEO and technical solutions.

They are looking for an energetic, self-motivated Online Technical and Operations Manager with strong previous experience in this field and a determined problem solving, can-do approach. This senior position can be thought of as the bridge between areas of improvement needed within the business given our expansion and new opportunities.

Reporting directly to, and working closely with, the Chief Executive Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the company running as smoothly and efficiently as possible across departments. Specifically, your will identify areas that need improving or updating, and then finding solutions to any problems to carry out intensive research, deep analysis and finding cost effective solutions across the company.

You will be looking at our various activities ranging from fulfilment, production to online sales to make these more efficient, testing systems and providing competitive commercial solutions including overseeing the optimisation of our client websites (UK, US, German, Danish, Dutch)

The role:

Online technical 
•Online optimisation lead, working with an external agency and team to oversee our optimisation strategy to ensure cost-effective google campaigns leading to increased traffic and sales
•Oversee the problem solving of any technical issues with support from the team
•Contribute to improving the sale success rate through retaining interest of website users, streamlining payment process and generating leads
•Analyse and improve the website positioning and with external agency produce
•Develop IT processes, best practices and tools across the business.
•Lead the research, installation and management of third-party affiliate management platform

Problem solving areas:
•Research various projects/issues across the departments to find suitable and cost effective solutions
•Researching and sourcing cost effective materials across departments, such as raw materials for production, online website solutions, fulfilment packaging etc.
•Identify, evaluate and manage setting up of our client future processing plant and offices within the next 15 months.
•Oversee the preparation of our new processing plant to hygiene standards with external support
•Lead our collaboration with external factories producing our new products
•Plan and organise production schedules with support from CEO
•Manage staff from website, fulfilment and production teams, responsible for HR
•Reviewing working practices across departments to ascertain if it is successful and if not, devise an alternative

The person:

•A degree in computing, good experience with Shopify
•5 years’ experience with Digital marketing, SEO, organic searches and technical support
•3 years in a problem-solving capacity either in a production (as CI manager), technical position or similar
•Leadership and interpersonal skills to energise staff to deliver optimal performance
•Proven strong analytical and problem solving skills across the business
•Proven track record of advanced project management skills
•Strong communication skills written and oral
•Works well independently and as part of a team, leading by example to achieve company-wide goals in an inspiring and engaging environment.
